DESCRIPTION
Description of tasks The employee will be part of our server team as a server specialist. This team is responsible for the development of a stable and secure server infrastructure and technology. Together with the developers, we work on ideas for continuous improvement. The technologies used are Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
Switch to Windows Server 2019 in the near future. The server infrastructure consists of around 2,000 servers, some of which are virtualized and some clustered with redundant backup and storage equipment in various computer rooms.
The employee will
– being involved in numerous projects, with an initial focus on Microsoft System Center products, to support industrial automation,
– cooperate with the automation of routine tasks, automatic monitoring of operational systems and quality controls,
– play a role in the global strategy to achieve further industrial IT standardization and transfer of knowledge between different sections and departments,
– together with the team, ensuring the continuity, constant growth and renewal of the server park.
Technical profile
Knowledge of Microsoft Powershell v5 (required) Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2016 (preferably)
Knowledge of Microsoft SMA (preferred)
